The Timmins Selects Basketball Club is a non-profit basketball club established and founded by Past President (2008-2014) Laurent Gilbert of Timmins, Ontario in January 2008. The Club is guided by Current Club President Jamie Lamothe along with volunteer Board of Directors which began providing programs to co-ed youths ages 5-19. Some of these programs include the Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program, House League and our Competitive Rep/Club Teams. The Club expanded its programs to include an Adult Men's and Women's Basketball League which began in 2009.

Our volunteer coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), a national licensing organization that is developed and implemented through the combined efforts of the Federal/Provincial governments, National/Provincial Sport governing bodies, and the Coaching Association of Canada.

Our competitive teams are offered to boys and girls ages 10 – 19. We participate in highly competitive tournaments throughout the Province. We are affiliated and proud members of
Ontario Basketball. As members of Ontario Basketball we participate in the Ontario Cup Provincial Championships – Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) annually.
